Privacy

Our privacy policy:
  • We attempt to keep your email address and passwords confidential.
  • We use cookies to keep track of visitors.
  • We employ analytics services to track how visitors found our website.
  • We attempt to use SSL/TLS encryption when transmitting sensitive data between our site and your computer, but not within our site.
  • Tables may have permissions associated with them. These permissions should not be too heavily relied on, and additional techniques such as salted hashing used to protect truly sensitive data such as passwords.
  • Your username is not private, nor are group memberships, table names, or table descriptive information. These are all public information.
  • We are a site for open data. We believe in a transparent society. Generally if there isn't a good need for privacy we believe in opening data up.
  • We may breach these policies in response to a bona-fide request from law enforcement.

Copyright infringement

We will act appropriately on notices of alleged copyright infringement. Such notices may be forwarded to Chilling Effects or other third parties for publication.

To notify us of alleged infringing content please send a signed letter by regular mail (not email), that complies with the provisions of section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA. Identify the infringing content based on the table name, row _id numbers, revision _rev numbers, and column names.

Send the letter to:

    FreeTable
    Attn: Legal dept.
    23 Coronado Ave
    Los Altos, CA 94022

We will appropriately terminate the accounts of repeat offenders (if they have accounts - not all FreeTable users have accounts). If you believe the alleged offender is a repeat offender please say so and provide evidence of this.

Counter notifications complying with section 512(g)(3) of the DMCA may be made to the same address.
